Why oh why did they have to repaint her in camo like all the other Spits? She looked fantastic in her silver colours. i’ll never forget seeing her for the first time, take off followed by an inverted climb, followed by a ridiculous series of rolls…

… under the sun she gleamed like a rapier!

The top two were taken at Duxford on the same day, and the lower one is North Weald on a miserable day, the poplar trees give it away.Unfortunately i did not date these slides but i would imagine mid 90’s.
