I was on a nav ex on sunday out to this place inbetween cheltenham and banbury. Im surprised that ive never heard of it or what it was used for. Could see a few airframes on the ground.. a hunter and a helicopter maybe a whirlwind… looked pretty beaten up from a couple of thousand feet. Also what looked like an ex ba heron but i may have this wrong as my concentration all round left a lot to be desired. So any ideas anyone ? Had buildings along the runway at various points… maybe fire or police training ?

I should really get a life (and you should get Wrecks & Relics 18 by Ken Ellis) . Hunter should be GA11 WT804, helicopter Wessex XP150.
