Hi All,
A gig in Stevenage last night and a hotel at Donnington Park services on the way back meant I could walk to East Mids this morning and take advantage of the sun! Having finally crawled into bed at 4am I was back up at 7 to walk up to the airport. Am I crazy or what?!
All images taken with either a Canon 30D + Tamron 28-300 or a Nikon D50 and Sigma 70-300 (controversial, I know!)

Thanks to Tom Gautier for the info on where to go!
Thanks for looking. 🙂

I have just realised, that was not quite what I meant.
“You are crazy for having got up so early, but your efforts are apprieciated!”
Don’t know what I was thinking at the time, sorry! 😮
Ha! It’s OK. You’re not the first person to call me crazy! 🙂

You are crazy for having so little shots, but your efforts are apprieciated! 🙂
Ahh, well I was only there for an hour and a half. Having done a concert the night before, getting to the hotel at at 4am, getting back up at 7am to walk to the airport and having an 18 tonner full of sound and lights to unload later that morning in Leeds, I was making the most of what little time I had. I’d have loved nothing more than to spend the entire day shooting, but sometimes you just have to make the most of what little time you have. 🙂
Thankyou again for your kind words, everyone!

Has that last Thomson had a really shonky repaint done around the main side titles…?
Ian
We reguarly get CDZL and CDZI in work at LBA, and they both look as bad around the main titles!
Great work, Paul. 🙂

Great shots..is that the airport where the BMI 734 crashed just short of the runway??
Thankyou, and yep, that’s the one. I pass that spot on the M1 regularly and always think of that crash as I go by.
Thanks for your kind words, all!

Probably just my dodgy editing. 🙂
Paul
I couldn’t believe it could be your dodgy editing…

Seems I was right to doubt your modesty!
