Mosquito A/C At Liverpool Speke

Hi I remember in the late 60s or early 70s there was a Mosquito aeroplane. This was kept in the old hangar that later became the International Terminal. I managed to get into this a/c and take some photos but unfortunately I can’t find them now . Does anyone know what happened to this a/c , I believe it was last flown away by the late Neil Williams ???

I think I might have posted these before, so apologies if they seem familiar. Am I right in thinking it has been identified as the best prospect of a future flyer among the UK Mosquitos, assuming the money is available?

Liverpool Mossie

That Mosquito was offered to the late Bunny Brookes (of Hoylake Spitfire fame around that time) for a hundred quid, but he had nowhere to put it.

At least it ended up in the right place rather than dismantled and stuffed behind a hangar somewhere – or worse.

Anon.

TT35 TA634, now at the de Havilland Heritage Centre, London Colney.

It was flown in the film ‘Mosquito Squadron’ by Neil Williams, but went back to Speke, before being donated down south!
