Mosquito crash site

These surface fragments were found by me recently, the black rubber strap may not be part of the aircraft..or is it?
Small Stainless steel bracket that bears the part number B98336 4 MK2 and the inspectors stamp of a circle with ‘DH’ over ‘580’, any ideas?

Still trying to think where the bit with the chain could be from…

No, its for the pilots door; the position of the screw holes is suggestive.

After much brain racking; the stainless part is one of the catches for the fuselage door. I think for the rear access door.

I’ll have a look in the book tonight for the part ID, if no one beats me to it. That part with the chain is bugging me, it looks familiar but I can’t place it…

It is very distorted, but a few close ups of the parts for you.

Be careful with the 20mm head.

Looks to be HE, minus its fuse (nose) cap.

Yep, it has been disposed of, now residing in a deep part of a nearby river.
