I was wondering why they kept the engines running for so long after returning to the hard stand. Could it be they boiled an engine?

Could have been steam venting. Running the engines to cool down perhaps?
I was there Saturday and it was hot.
Sunday possibly more cloud but hotter? I was in Toronto Sunday and boy it was a scorcher. Nice to see the Hurricane and Corsair fly over.

Fighter and fighter bomber Mosquitos had a fighter stick. Bombers and PR had yokes.

Do all Mosquito’s have a fighter stick? I thought they had a spectacle style yoke?

Absolutely super.
This took me back well over 60 years to when I was a nav/rad on Mossies. My pilot was keen that we be the best crew and so I had to continue with my commentary until I could no longer see the target blip as it disappeared into the permanent echo at about 300 ft range.
One night our target was a Lincoln and we did the normal, I got a real shock when my pilot said “you can look up now”. The Lincoln was over twice the span of the Mossie which I normally saw and it looked as if we were about to crawl into the bomb bay.

Just amazing what you can do with computer generated imagery ! Almost looks real ! A Mosquito flying with a Lancaster and a Hurricane and a Spitfire and a and a and a. Fat chance ! Regulations would stop this sort of nonsense ever happening. Only exists in the minds of those barflys in the colonies. Poppycock.

There’s one point early on where the Lanc just drifts into the Mosquito’s gunsight… and in my mind instantly morphs into a He-177 or Ju-88! I was just willing the pilot to pull the trigger!
