Is this biography published in 1982 any good?

Here is a quote from page 12:
‘Herbert….was in a prisoner-of-war camp. But he did not survive the camp. A German fighter plane buzzed the camp one day and a wing caught him in the head from behind. A plane at low level gives no warning’.
A certain catch phase by Harry Hill comes to mind.

Ummm:
Not to put too fine a point on it, that’s rather like asking if the Pope is Catholic, or if the sky is blue.
You will not find a better read anywhere. Don’t start it on an evening before a workday, as you’ll be bleary-eyed the next day, for having stayed up and read it all the way through.
The vehemence of my post may be connected to the presence of the 1981 edition in my jacket pocket, the better to pass the hours on the flight from Auckland to Sydney.

‘Terror in the Starboard Seat’
A great read from cover to cover! I enjoyed every minute of it as I always enjoy the first person books that cover their personal wartime stories!

Snap one up. You will not be disappointed.

Hmmm, no idea.
I’ve read ‘Terror in the Starboard Seat’ by Dave McIntosh
A fascinating account of his desperate attempts as a Mosquito Nav to stay alive when paired with a very gung-ho Jewish American pilot intent on taking on the Third Reich single handed.
Far from the stiff upper lip stuff we are used to.

EDIT – Same book, revised (and less honest) title
