Mosquito meme – and a bit more story.

It seems this is doing the rounds on the intertubes, I’ve cribbed it off FB where Kermit Weeks posted it and via a circuitous route I saw it.

Quite by coincidence, two days before I saw it, I came across a newspaper clipping of the 50th anniversary reunion of the pilot and the couple in the car. I suspect I’ve posted this on here in the dim & distant past, but I figure it’s interesting enough to reappear. Last news on the pub I can find was December 2023, when approval was granted for a restoration, having been derelict for some years. I guess as I can’t find anything newer it’s yet to happen.
