Seen in another place:
“….while on a business trip, I was chatting with the client about what I did in my spare time – old motorcycles, says I – what about you? Oh, I have a Sabre jet and a Mig that keeps me busy. Radio control ones? says I? Oh no – they are real flying ones! Turned out that amongst other things, he owned a helicopter business. But he has just bought a Mosquito with a friend and was bringing it to UK from Canada to get it flying again”
Presumably the aircraft is VR796 which the excellent mossie.org says has been sold to Bob Jens, though the information was that the machine was staying in Canada. I guess this is maybe wishful thinking as many would love to see a Mossie flying here again, but any truth in this?

VR796 has been under restoration with Bob Jens for some while, and I havent heard of any change of ownership.
The other Canadian machine that was under discussion was RS700, but that fell through after the seller discovered it wasnt theirs to sell!
Other than that, no idea – lets wait and see!
