Well if rumours can help a bit feel free:p

Cheers

Cees

Maybe best left alone. You never know what trouble we could get into making untruths up. :diablo:

I was only lucky enough to see a flying Mossie once but its was one of the most moving sights Ive ever seen.

Best of luck to the chaps with their project they need to be applauded. Any chance of a UK visit to Legends at somepoint?

The Midland Air Museum, Cees? Now thats how rumours start, Lol :p

A lovely thought though that would get my vote. After all something like 3/4 of all FB.VI’s were built in Coventry. A little known fact that I read the other day. Hopefully the source is correct in its comments now Ive committed it to the www :diablo:

Bruce,

Are you and MAM in any way involved in this magnificent project?

…The quality of this rebuild appears second to none. Bruce

I have supplied information and one or two (literally!) parts, but that is all.

As yet, we have not been in a position to assist, though we have helped Glyn with parts and information over the years.

We make no pretence of making parts for the future, although we do restore what we have! The quality of this rebuild appears second to none. It also appears that they might have some spare, unserviceable flap hinges – must drop Warren a line!

Next to Dehavlland museum they are the best to make any mossie parts for any projects in the future and Cees, hence the reason to worry. Was told that by a veteran Lancaster ground mechanic as I was wiping oil from the cowlings on the lanc.

😀 😀

Peter,

Absolutely fantastic work they are doing there. I wonder if they will make a number of parts of any item that they are making now for future projects.

Oh and Peter, when there isn’t oil, there is no engine:D

Cheers

Cees
