Most popular training aircraft?

Simple, can anyone tell me the answer to the title?

Cloud 9 .

Thanks for contributing, and do not be remotely put off by the rather waspish ( or shall we just settle for rude?) response from certain parties.

The condescending, ‘know-all’ attitude may be some sort of attempt at dry humour, or then again, maybe not. Who knows, and frankly, who cares.

From some of the replies I have seen on these forums you got off lightly. It does get more sociable.

Reasonable? Yes. Lame? One of the most lame. Must try harder.

Ok, well we seem to of gotten off the wrong foot here…I apologise for not trying harder, but as I said before, being a complete beginner I wouldn’t know how to try harder…I didn’t know that such a simple question would cause friction between two fellow forum members… 🙁

Thanks for the advice, have been trying to work out why it won’t work, as you are not the only one who has mentioned that it does not work, so I will rectify as soon as…

Don’t shoot Birthday Boy down on his Birthday! 😀

Thanks. 😀

Yawn! It is nice to see somebody other than R Weaver posting questions, but honestly, this one is pretty lame. .

it seemed quite a reasonable question to ask

Well I am sorry, but as I spend most of my time in the Commerical Aviation forum, and have only just recently got interested in GA, it seemed quite a reasonable question to ask in my opinion…? 😉

Yawn! It is nice to see somebody other than R Weaver posting questions, but honestly, this one is pretty lame. It falls into the same category as:

1) Do you prefer crabbing or wing-down for X-wind landings?

2) How many bars should I have on my epaulettes as a PPL student?

3) What kind of kneeboard is best?

4) How much will my PPL cost?

The answer to your question is that the 152 and Tomahawk are almost certainly the most popular (as in, most heavily used) training aircraft in use in the UK. However, the 172 and PA28 also feature heavily as do increasingly, things like Diamonds.
