What is the purpose of this load of rubbish that Duxford have signed, banning live airframes from being displyed next to airworthy ones?
It would seem the idea of moving the airframes about is gone, and the BOB collection will be dispersed around the site.
Do the companies hire hangar space from the IWM, presumably good revenue.

Its all a bit worrying but TFC are already in hanger 2. I suppose they could build a new hanger for the flyers although no doubt they would have to pay for it themselfs!
I dont think that they would force the other organisations out as they are a major pull and a whole airshow on there doorstep!!

Its all to do with keeping exhibits in buildings in which the temperature and humidity can be controlled. You can do that if you need to keep opening the doors. So exhibits dont need to go outside, so they can have their Hangers sealed and flying items can go in other Hangers!
However at East Fortune the only aircraft in that sort of environment is Concorde!!
