Carol
If they haven’t done so already an email to the Airfields Research Group may be worth a try. https://www.airfieldresearchgroup.org.uk/about/our-history.

Hi Ruhr Rover

Folk at the Military Aviation Museum are itching to paint it the correct camouflage. It is just not easy finding the exact colours and pattens. If you have any sources for advice I will happily pass on the information to the museum team.

Based in England, I have been tasked with finding ALL the fixtures and fittings for the Goxhill watch office, which is mighty fine fun way to spend my days.

Anyone who has any information or items which they think will contribute to this restoration, please do let me know. I am swamped with ideas and leads to follow up and loving it. I have purchased plenty of items already and am always on the lookout for more or improved items.

Thanks folks and sorry for having been away from the forum for a number of years.

Goxhill Watch office was heavily camouflaged with paint when it was constructed, perhaps the Health and Safety gang has decreed that pale green will make it more visible to the modern day pilot ???
