Same ‘ere Kazaa is a good mp3 site and has an extensive fan base aswell!!, would downloading be much quicker if i had broadband?? i have heard it does the opposite and slows down downloading….

Kazaa is very good,as has been said.I normally can get all the songs I want.Takes around 20 minutes to download one song and they are of quite good quality.Setup takes along time though.

I now use Kazzaa, but for music best was Audiogalaxy…too bad they shut it down.

following hand87_5 advice im getting a small colection of mp3 going – i don’t have the greatest sound card so the vocals come out bad so lots of dance tracks i think 😀

im on a 56k modem so its a big thing to pick a good track out there and wait hte hour or two.

I use imesh.

Very easy to use search engine, quick results and you dont have to wait too long for answers due to there being millions of people on line.

I tried Morpheous but that was no where near as good as imesh. I tried Kazaa or whatever its called and when I downloaded the program it screwed my PC BIG TIME !!!!.Eventually got the program sorted out but found that even with 2.5 million users on line, it still no where near as good as imesh.

Incidentaly, I’ve found that when using imesh for a download, instead of just downloading from one person, it’ll multi download the same song or whatever from as many people that are on line at that particular time. I’m on broadband out here and regularly download files of 3 to 5 mb from imesh in a matter of minutes due to the multi tasking ability.

Only drawback is when downloading files is that you tend to run out of disk space at an alarming rate cos you can download all those mouldy oldies that you like and everyone else laff’s at !!!!!.

However what I will is advise to try a few of these sites and you will soon find one that suites your needs.

I use WinMX. That’s a free software available on the web which allows a peer to peer connection. Just install the software and you can access zillion of free stuff.

when u use kazaa try the lite version, it is free of spy ware and pop ups.

i use kazza loads of them on there, but the old warning make sure you are using good antivirus software,
