Mr Bee and I have been married alive 38 years this month.Despite this lifetime of togetherness,I still leave the newspaper disgustingly untidy after reading, and Himself can’t go out of the front door without coming back in because he’s forgotten something.Hardly grounds for divorce, but is there anything about your Significant Other that drives you nuts ?Or has the honeymoon never ended ?

I am not married, BUT it irritates me no end that if I don’t answer every one of those “wat u up 2” texts, I get the huff treatment when she gets home 😡
…and here is you lot talking about marriages woes 😮
i get the same kinda thing and im not even with her, even for talking to other females

Marriage is fine in small doses – Mr. Bee is watching the Eurovision song contest and hasn’t even noticed I’m listening to my MP3 player so I can’t hear any of it.It’s sweet that your girlfriend likes to know what you’re doing.

Tell me something I don’t already know mate. It’s a matter of finding somewhere else to go and a crash course in cookery I think.

Funnily enough it is easy. We both have our own computers, neither of us know the other’s passwords and with me working the shifts I do she goes to bed ages before me if we’re on days and if I’m on nights I deal with them in the morning after she’s gone to work. Strange as it may seem I don’t feel guilty about being in touch with the ex, instead I feel that by trying to maintain happiness in my present marriage I’m cheating on her. “Confused? You will be after the next episode of Soap”:D
Honestly Mike… it sounds like you need to cut your losses and walk away from this marriage…reading between the lines you sound like a very unhappy Man!!!

Oh dear – I’ll have to remind you there’s not much of a market for old bats .

You’re being too hard on yourself. Virtually all the older divorced blokes I know started again, invariably with a younger model, and you must be a decent sort to have been married twice.Must be a strain keeping the e mails quiet though .

You’re not that old.Plenty of time to start again .
I’m only 3 and a bit years short of retirement age so I don’t really have that much timt to make a fresh start, especially considering I would need to take the time to find someone fool enough to take me on and give me the chance to start again. Actually I don’t know when things changed the way they did. At one time my ex’s hubby at the time and I were both in the same unit and the present Mrs C and my ex got on fine to the extent that we used to go to each other’s houses for Sunday lunch. That went on for about three years until my other half threw a wobbly one day and stamped on us keeping in touch. Thirty years later the ex and I found out where each other was via friends reunited and have been in touch ever since. Needless to say the other half doesn’t know.

Oh I wish. She would have a hairy fit but she wouldn’t throw me out as then she wouldn’t be able to afford to live in the mannner to which she has become accustomed.
The Mrs and i hardly ever squabble…if she ever launches into any form of vitriolic diatribe i usually threaten to cancel her Amex and Diners club cards…that normally pulls her back into line!!!

I tend to go for people at least 10yrs younger than me! keeps me feeling young then. :D:diablo:

That’s another of my problems. I’m no longer in the first flush of youth either. I’m still in contact with my ex and I’ll admit now that if the opportunity presented itself I’d welcome her back tomorrow.
