hey all
the White House website has a video of George giving a tour of his office. It’s a wonder (and i dont wish to start a flaming war or America slagging contest) how he got into office, when he comes across in the video as someone who cannot put a good, proper sentence together, and he appears to constantly forget what he has just said.
Why the video is on there, I have no idea.
on the right hand side of the webpage; “Oval Office Video Tour”

LMAO
In fact, its pretty worrying IMO.

I don’t think he comes across quite as bad as some of you are suggesting. Sure, hes no great speaker, Clinton was always going to be a hard act to follow.
However, those Americans who voted Bush in knew what they were getting. The fact that he has a somewhat nervous, stuttering style of speaking endeared hime to a wide group of U.S. voters who perhaps saw him as more real and “approachable” in some ways.

At least his presidency put rest to the old assumption…popularized by the old Robert Redford film “The Candidate” that all you have to be is pretty and glib (Hugh Gran…I mean Tony Blair, Bill Clinton) to get elected.
I knew some Democrat reporters (not big Bush fans) when I lived in Texas who spent hours with him when he was runninng for governor.
They were impressed with him on a one-to-one level.
Takes all kinds.

So every new president gets to design their own rug then. He then says Laura designed it. Presumably his wax crayon picture of a B52 bombing the bejesus out of something was vetoed by his administration?!!! :dev2:
