I’m curious.
Many cities such as London , Paris , Chicago(?) , LA , NY , DC(?) , Tokyo,etc…
have more than one international airport.
Do you know more?

(lol)
You can bomb East Renfrewshire all you like, GLA and Braehead are in Renfrewshire.
As for the Killie pies… yum yum. I can get all the pies I want FOC now that the wee brother is playing for the sons of Jeffries ! 😀
He’s told me all about that Sutton geezer at the end of the season, tut tut !

How about SFO with Oakland just across the Bay? Again, not strictly the same city, but certainly serviceable by both communities.
Ren, personally, I think we should just bomb the whole of East Renfrewshire, and thereby regain Braehead for the City. 😛
Oh, and while we’re bombing places, can we get rid of Embra? 😉
Nah, seriously, does anyone really care where an airport is… as long as it’s accessible. I don’t have a problem with PIK, except there are to many Ayrshire Neds about… (although I won’t suggest bombing them as Killie Pies are too good to do away with… ;))

You’re absolutely right but what I mean about Glasgow is that it’s not even within the political boundaries of Glasgow but in fact in another town. Strictly speaking, Paisley International Airport would be more appropriate.
Hmmm… I feel a campaign coming on and Bhoy strongly disagreeing with me 😀
As for Prestwick still being international then yes, as it carries flights to destinations outwith the UK. Ryanair to Ireland, Globespan (for now) to Spain and lot’s of ad-hoc charters and cargo to all over the world.

Glasgow Prestwick, is about 25 miles away from Glasgow International and I’ve never really considered Prestwick as somewhere that should carry “Glasgow” in it’s title. It certainly never used too.
Glasgow International is also not technically in Glasgow but 8 miles to the West of the city centre. It’s actually situated within the administrative boundaries of my home town of Paisley. You can walk from Paisley town centre to the airport in 15 or 20 minutes.

Also Detroit. Well, Willow Run Airport handles international cargo and charter flights… 😉

Technically Montreal does as well. When AC pulled out of Mirabel and moved their international flights to Dorval, many charters remained at Mirabel and cargo operators as well.
