Recently, we started working on a Murphy Rebel kit project. When researching for a decent color and markings lay out I found this article in Global Magazine. So far it was the only lead I’ve found for a Murphy Rebel in Algerian service.

Although the article mentiones the plane was to be used for border patrol I wonder if it ever was delivered. Research on line doesn’t show this plane anywhere till now. The Algerian Border Patrol, or Gardes Frontieres Algerienne, only uses the AS350 Equreuil helicopter.
Requests on a French forum were left unanswered (probably my poor french :D).
