Museum a/c removed to safety during 2WW…

tried the search but hav,nt hit on the magic words,so can anyone tell what if anything happened to any a/c held at the IWM during the 2nd WW?,also the German equivalent museum.Did read somewhere that some were moved to storage for safety…
