Museum lighting in a new light

The Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop has been changing the lights in its exhibition halls and the difference is stunning.
To show you what it looks like here are a few shots taken with a hand held camera set to idiot mode (auto) but with the flash disabled. They’re not brilliant but anyone who has been to the museum will recognise the improvement.

The museum is also undergoing a major revamp of its side galleries due to be finished in April in time for RFC 100.

Nice pictures, they’ve come out well.

When I took pictures at Hendon a couple of years ago, I found that the
shadow/highlights option in Photoshop, could lighten the shadows quite well, as long as
you don’t over do it.
