Space Shuttle’s
Thank’s John 😉 ,
Bloody cold down ere  ,
Well it goe’s like this John, year’s back me mother got me up for School, knowing I wanted to watch the Shuttle blast off!!! 😎
While she was busy making my breaky, it dissapeared in a great BIG BANG!! 😮 .
I then said ah…. SH*T 😮 , Mum the Shuttle, and all on board are gone, just like THAT 🙁 .
She was more shocked then me I think, you know what Mum’s are like when other mum’s, lose there loved one’s, just like that! 🙁 .
I have never forgotten it 🙁 ,
Then the Last shuttle that did not make it back, I had watched it with binoc’s pass over Oz the night before it fell apart 🙁 .(only a fast moving bright dot of course  ).
So I saw one dissapear right before my eye’s live 😮 , and the other the night before it was gone as well 🙁 , almost felt I like just had to witness this one make it back!!! 😮 .
A job well done NASA, I was VERY happy when she touched down 🙂 .
Thinking the Shuttle’s time maybe at an end now  .
There has to be a replacement now, a newer safer type for the job!! 😉
Well done to the CREW, great pilot for a WOMAN 😀 :p :dev2:

Ah – this explains an ATR doing 240’ish and height to spare on finals. 😉
(No dragchute though!)
P.S. Caravelles and Lear Jets had “chutes” – other civilians?

Thanks John, glad you recognise a cool head when you see one. 😀
I don’t ‘have a problem’ with Houston….but I doub’t they have my number.
Check out this website the next time they go up.
Having seen the ISS and the Shuttle flying overhead side by side in 2002 (about the width of your thunb apart) I can guarentee it is quite breath taking.

Sidelipping her like a Tiger Moth
According to the BBC website:
I don’t want to be near any commercial plane that makes an approach at 10mph!!!
Unless it’s got rotors perhaps 😀
We saw Discovery ont he day they rolled her out of the VAB back in April. Somehow this makes it Feel like she’s “our” own shuttle.
Go Discovery!
