nope – Candyman / Moose is 44-73149 and used reg. N6340T when racing at Reno and for some time when brought over by Stephen Grey
It had a white line along the fuselage

the NMF ship is an early P-51D-5-NA as it has no fin-fillet – I have a hunch which particular aircraft it could be, but need to do some more research before going public.

I love the looks of Twilight Tear, the metal surface looks really as it should, and not like the lousy “flat silver” finish applied to some mustangs, that make them look like huge toys..
