After several years of everyone’s support on these very forums, I have finally reached 1000 photos on jetphotos.net. The shot can be viewed here http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5932765. It also coincided with my 200th on airliners.net. Many thanks to all those who have given me help and shown appreciation of my photos over the years, and here’s to many more! 😀

what settings do you use for wingview shots

With wingviews I do my best to use a wider aperture (eg. a lower F number like F5.6) to minimise the amount that the camera focuses on the window (therefore minimising the effect of any dirt that may be on there). Other than that, just use an average shutter speed depending on lighting conditions.

Only joking! The chances are had it not been for your hours of kind advice when I was starting out I wouldn’t have 553 shots on Jetphotos now, so it’s great to see you’ve reached the magical 1000.
