It came to me the other day that my anti-Palestinian/Pakistani views aren’t really a good way to live my life. I would like to apologize for my often rude remarks about Palestinians, Pakistanis, or their living conditions. I still remain firm on my support of Israel in the matter of the Mid-East conflict, but I do realize that I shouldn’t have such a burning hatred for the Palestinian people. I still don’t like the PA, and I’m sure my views will never agree with those of Geforce or Pakistani or others, but I would still like to apologize for past remarks. In the future, I’ll try to keep those type of remarks to myself in the future. Thank you.

PII,
you didn’t read my email? The one with my bank account numbers telling you to go and buy yourself an F4? Oh well, never mind.
This time I’ll send you a private message as I have some info you might be interested in.
Regards,

RE: My Apologies
Well said.
I too, feel that I have tended to be a bit more anti-Israeli than I intended. Perhaps I suffer from the typical British habit of always supporting the underdog.
As Keltic very correctly said, most such issues are some shade of grey rather than black and white.

Great PhamtonII, generous indeed. I also support Israel but time has show me that things arenยดt black or white but usually grey. I feel quite moved by your valiant post.

RE: My Apologies
Well seahawk, I’d like to return to AFM, but I just don’t feel I should. I’ve been monitoring it lately and there seems to still be certain topics that are still talked about too much. There isn’t enough branching out. And also, I feel I never did contribute anything to the forum. I’ve done that a good bit at ACIG.org, at least I’d like to think I have. If I did contribute, I was never told so, and therefore I must assume that I didn’t.
GarryB, I hope you are right. There are some who should refrain from doing that. They know who they are, and I won’t say names, but thanks for your support on the matter Garry.

RE: My Apologies
Perhaps others here will match your maturity and refrain from cheap shots about the F-4?

RE: My Apologies
Perhaps you will return to the AFM forum then, as it is boring without some F-4 talk.

RE: My Apologies
I’m glad to know my apology has been acknowledged. In the future, I’ll try harder to have a good debate without getting so heated.

RE: My Apologies
PII
I think it took alot of courage posting this. Well done.
I and you both know Palistinians and Pakistanis have their fair share of extremists, murderers and terrorists. Lets not kid ourselves, but my point was, they are ordainary people too! Just like you and me in fact, I even know people from both nations who like nothing better then to go out, have a beer, tell rude jokes and talk about chicks!
We have to remember that every nation has its fair share of wackos, terrorists and extremists.
Islamic fundementalist in Pakistan
Christian Fudementalist in the US
Hindu mobs in Gujrat India
Jewish settlers in Israel
We have to remember though that teh vast majority of people in these countries have nothing to do, nor want anything to do , with such groups.Terror does not have a nationality.
Disagreeing with people is good, this forum needs healthy debate, what we don’t need is generalisations, sweeping statements and racism.
I am glad you have finally had the courage of your convictions and apologised. You have gone up in my opinion!

RE: My Apologies
Glad you finally understand it! Indeed, your remarks were very rude. I don’t expect you to agree with me, in fact, that would be quite stupid, because I really try to understand the Israeli’s in this matter. But I hope this is a new start for you …
