The first photo looked so real and convincing, till I read the smaller Merlin. Obviously a good deal of time and effort went into this. Excellent very well done!

I’m impressed.
I didn’t realize there were so many products available to modellers.

Absolutely amazing…
but I am concerned about the possibility of pollutants having leached into a water source 🙂 🙂

The Merlin is out of the 1/24 Airfix Hurricane kit, as you can build that kit without the engine, it gives me two kits for the price of one, I have tweaked it a bit, added a supercharger detailing, camshafts and drives, also the prop shaft which is simply a bit of tubing in a tube, though I had to chop the front casings about a bit… 🙂

Awesome stuff 😎
Was the Merlin scratch built?

Astonishing work! I love some of the dioramas I’ve seen online, but the water looks the most realistic in this one here.

The stones are real stones… Well cinders from a cinder road / path, so is the smaller gravel, the soil is plaster of Paris with a lot of tea in it to give it structure then mixed with acrylic artists paints to make it soil colour.. The lot is in a picture frame.
