Lba-Sou
Flybe
dash 8-400… i think
Cost £60.99!
Arrived at lba on the airport bus whcih goes from bradford every hour. Nice bus with plenty of baggage space. I went upstairs to take some pics only to find out that I had left my camera at home on charge. So i just watched them myself. I went to burger king to buy a fish burger and they dont sell any and the chips were someting like £1.20!
When I went in there were nice staff but i have to say, it was pretty packed and i agree with the fact that a new terminal is needed. Then i got comfused where to go but eventuaslly after going past screening zones, expensive duty free shops and smelly toilets I found myself in the bus travelling to the plane. There were only about six planes on stands and one bmi connected to the walkway.
Through the window I saw us rotating and i saw the cemetry, and there wasnt alot of people there. I saw leeds and then the clouds. Spend £6 on food and £10 on a model aeroplane dash 8-400. Overall the ride was rocky and flybe gave me a newspaper to read. It was a smoth landing at southampton and went through to a very small baggage reclaim centre and then cusums and finaly got a taxi to the Southampton park hotel.
Sorry my english is really poor but this is the first time i have made a trip report and its my first domestic flight. I have just paid £3 at this expensive internet cafe.

[QUOTE=T5] little mention of what happened in the air.
I fell asleep on the plane

I never usually pick up things with the code of conduct and I don’t know why I felt compelled to this time but I did, think it’s unfair to say I have a ‘cheek’ in making lba rlz simply aware of the code’s presence.
In the future I’ll not say a word about it.

Sorry guys, won’t happen again. 🙂
I wasn’t meaning to be cheeky or rude, and if it came across like that then I must apoligise.

A nice report, but perhaps a little too much talking about what went on whilst at the airport and little mention of what happened in the air.
The cheek of some members is unbelievable. This member clearly stated that his English isn’t up to standard, so what does everyone do? They pick him up for it. Funnily enough, some of you who are moaning are far from perfect anyway. Read your replies back to yourself.
But again, was an interesting report. I’ve nevered tried Flybe but I’d love to give their Dash 8-Q400s a go some time.

Moderator Comment
Ahem….. that’s quite enough blaspheming and taking of the Lord’s name in vain for one day, young man! :diablo:
While the Code of Conduct does, indeed, exhort us to post in comprehensible English one cannot help but wonder whether it is entirely polite or appropriate to publicly criticise the standard of a fellow-member’s written English in this way.
IMHO a simple PM to the member in question or, failing that, to a Moderator would be far better.
I’m sure lba rlz is trying his best, and will be far more inclined to be “bovered” in future.
Won’t you, lba rlz?
GA
ps…. it’s “having to”, not “having too”. :dev2: :dev2: :dev2:

No we just made it up.
Jesus…. Just look at the code of conduct!

Nice report :).
and i just coudnt be “BOVERED” to do the spelling or vacabulary
Not meaning to be rude but it’s not a fact of being bothered it’s a fact of having too!
Please post in comprehensible English
Besides it isn’t exactly hard to make corrections where needed 😎 .

BOVERED and vacabulary…. hmmm…
Not a bad report at all though I didn’t think, you got the dreaded 737 bus, what a pile of…….!!! was it actually on time?
EDIT – have to agree with Tom, the standard of English on here recently has really gone down. We seem to have several members who cannot be BOVERED to type in comprehensible English! It’s in the code of conduct guys!

Bad punctuation etc, I agree but credit for trying anyway. There’s not much space for another terminal at LBA anyway now. And 60.99, quite pricey.
