I found the best way to freeze the rotors……..
nice piccie tho mate. All we get here is the Griffon’s and the good old yellow ASR Seakings…oh and the occassional Mi 8 and civvie version of the Hokum (think thats what it is…twin counterrotating rotors ona short mast.

(lol) it was actually hurtling overhead at quite a rate en route to another patrol over the Firth of Clyde having just left it’s base at Prestwick (Gannet). Amazing the power of a fast shutter speed ! 😀

Yeah it’s a nice shot. I like taking heli pics and trying to freeze the rotor action, it makes for a more dramatic shot.
