I have just returned from the UK in the following flights
SCQ-MAD….AEA B737-800
MAD-LPL….EZY B737-700
MAN-EDI….BD EMB135
EDI-MAN….BD EMB145
LPL-MAD….EZY B737-700
MAD-SCQ….AEA B737-800
All flights were quite pleasant despite the adverse weather, which for instance made the runway to be closed for a couple of hours. About the Embraer 134/145 is a nice small place. Fast, stable and defitely nicer the 135 than the 145 which is too long (like a flying pencil), I flew first on MAN-EDI and despite the flight lasts only 45 minutes we were given roastbeef, salad, potatoes salad, a small of chocolates and a triffle plus drinks which had to be eaten quickly for the duration of the flight. The Easyjet flight to MAD was a bit unusual. There were almost 30 miles per hour winds so the pilot kept us telling that there were going to be turbulences during take off, flying and landing….but nothing at all. Due to this….too exagerating response, a women suffered a crisis in the middle of the flight and had to be given air supplies by the crew. I´ll put photos other day.

RE: My flights to UK
AEA, is not bad at all. SCQ-MAD is a 45 minutes flight and you get in the morning a fruit juice, coffee or tea, shortbread and a lindt chocolate. Fares are usually low and at almost a low cost basis.

Uhhh, hard to say. Easyjet was about 62 euros, and BD was about the same. I was travelling on economy on BD, but due to that they needed seven passengers to distribute the load (we all were at the back), some of us were upgraded. The BD flight back was peanut and drinks, enough for a 45 minutes hop. Definitely regular airlines are adopting low cost tactics, if they can´t afford costs, they could slice the “low costs” earnings.
