Well better late than never, here they are. I was not overly impressed with Boots this time on the developing… both sets of pictures have been damaged, as have the CD images, so I have spent the last hour sorting them out using paint.
So here they are.
G-MIDV about to land on 27L.

Superb photos Andrew.
OK, the weather was bad, but the actual shots of the aircraft are superbly composed, I don’t see anything wrong with them.

Brilliant photographs. I also photographed that same ANA 747-400 as it arrived at Heathrow. It can be seen along with a couple of other shots from the day on http://www.myaviation.net/ and select my name from the drop down menu. Sadly, the quality is bad due to compression.
Looking forward to the next meet, wherever it may be! 🙂

The road has always had to be closed when a plane crosses, but it worked to a major disadvantage on Saturday. A ladys car caught fire just to the North of the gates, next to all the spotters under 27R. Well some idiot managed to set off the gates, locking them down, closing the road whilst all the emergency services came along! Fortunatley the first fire engine came from the North side (In a very impressive 5 minutes!) and so the backlog of all ancillary vehicles wasn’t too much of a problem!

Some great pics there Andrew, a shame the weather was so grey for all of us that day. 🙁

Great pics Andrew….Love the PIA!

nice!
I noticed on the G-BNLO pic that the road is now completely closed for traffic when a plane taxies over it, when did they change that? Is it a large hindrance for photography?

I have to say, as a mate, STOP MOANING! They are great. The ANA 747 is stunning and the shot of BNLO after crossing the road is good too. They all are, except for the one with Concorde in 😉

Some excellent pics there – shame the weather ruined it, they’d be superb with sunshine! 🙁
