My Offering From A Sunny Leeds-Bradford – 22/1/07

Today PMN was happy… Today PMN’s 30D took its first aviation photos at ISO 100, f8 and a shutter speed of more than 1/80. 🙂

Can you believe that is nearly a year ago?! How time flies! (Excuse the pun…..):diablo:

Wow… We were on DLF on the 21st February! Here’s me saying it wasn’t so long ago! Then again, that’s what 60 flights in a year and a load of alcohol does to you. 😀

Tom… I thought you might like the shot of DLF, since we flew on her not too long ago!

Dan… Stop messing around and get yourself up here for a day, will you?! As Tom quite rightly says, they’re very typical LBA shots, and again, as Tom quite rightly says, when they’re on 14 it’s even better. You’re more than welcome to a guided tour of our little airport any time you like, and the best spots are well within easy walking distance of the terminal. 🙂

Adam (MonkeyHugger)… I may well actually do another trip report on this gig. It’s been a while since my last one! 😀

Thanks again for your kind comments everyone. They’re much appreciated. 🙂

Brilliant!

On the first Ls shot that tower in thebackground is infact at the top of my street which is 2 miles away and on that pic it looks like it is on the airfield!

Really fantastic work mate! I quite fancy LBA for some of those spotting positions. Those ones of CELK and CELS, were they just lucky catches (rotating/climbing out just at the right place/right time) or are they they usual angles you can expect from that particular vantage point? Because if they are, it looks really good! Will have to consider it at some point…

Brilliant shots, Paul, love the one of EI-DLF, looks stunning! 🙂

Wow. Awesome shots 🙂 Jet2 climbout is fantastic, always like that angle

Thankyou. 🙂 I’ll be at LBA on Thursday but to catch a flight, and returning Saturday. Hopefully I should make it up there with the camera again early next week!

Thanks for your kind comments so far guys!

My favourite is the BAe 125.

But there again, I’m always a sucker for a nice bizjet. 😀

Personally, I like the RYR 738, but that’s probably just because I love that livery.

Great photos like always, Paul. 🙂

😮 I knew the sky looked great today (Huddersfield) but never thought it could produce such good pictures:cool:

Really well done.

When are you off next?

Sam
