While at the Chino airshow I was fortunate enough to get a flight in the Planes Of Fame P-51D Mustang ‘Spam Can’, which I can say left a huge silly grin on my face for days afterwards!
The huge bonus was, not only was I in a P-51, but we had another one alongside, ‘Wee Willy II’.
The weather was not perfect in as much as it was cloudy, but I’m not complaining.
Hope you like my first ever attempt at air-to-air photography.
Surprisingly, all the photo’s I took came out clear, considering I was shaking so much with excitement!!

Unfortunately ‘Spam’ is only a single-stick, so I was just along for the ride – but what a ride!!

I cannot fully describe how great an experience this was, but I would like to thank the guys ‘n girls at Planes Of Fame, and especially the two pilots, for giving me the chance to experience a real legend of an aircraft 😉
