My son's first outing with DSLR

My son has been spotting for a while now but has been using a small bridge camera and the results has been poor, so as its his 17th birthday this week me and my wife gave him money and he decided to go on ebay and get a canon 450D i took him over to GLA yesterday (as his A*** was making buttons )the weather was bad but he managed to get three photo’s before the heavens opened i said he could use my account until his is up and running here is his results.

In no order

Just out of interest which one was it? I used to use the S8000fd and now have the S3400.

he started off with fujipix bridge camera then moved onto the nikon L810 but the more you zoomed in the more grainy it got but he is now over the moon with his 450D cant wait till we can get over whenthe sun is out and there is good light but the practice will do him good

Good work 🙂 Your son is picking it up well.
What bridge camera did he have previously?
