MY TRIP TO MAN [but no pics due to weather!]

Hi,
now I know people don’t want me to start new threads but I’m feeling positive about this one! 🙂
It is very windy,I MEAN VERY WINDY in manchester today so I knew it would be fun to watch the aircraft!
We arrived and it was still very windy…..ok….
then we noticed a Britannia B757 very high with extreme bad turbulance! Then it went down really far and then took-off again and turned right over the viewing park!
Then an Air malta went to take off and as soon as it lifted up the wing went down and nearlly scraped the runway! Then a British airways Em4 went to land and took off again, then the next plane was also a BA em4 and also went up again!Great day.I also saw a PIA A310 and a white B747[air atlanta]
hope that’s intresting!

I asked whether it was in Tyrolean because last weekend saw a Tyrolean F70 in Austrian Arrows colours.

The PIA 310 was one of the diversions into MAN from BHX. A Duo Airways Canadair was the other one diverted in from BHX.

A number of flights at BHX have been diverted today due to the weather.

General weather forecasts suggest it will be windy almost everywhere. If I don’t have to go to Chichester tomorrow morning I will probably pop to BHX or EMA.

Was the Tyrolean in their colours or Austrian Arrows colours?? I wonder if it will be as windy tomorrow when I head off to Germany.

The winds have been a nightmare in the UK all over today, with windshear being a particular problem. I myself have been nearly blown over about 10 times!
