My weekend…

Sunday AM set off to Santa Paula airshow with kid in tow….

Airshow blurb advertised the show as being aimed at kids with lots for them to do… There was indeed a ‘kids area” which would have easily fitted inside my garage & was suitable for 3-5yearolds…. Watched a Zero & the CAF Hellcat drone around, looked in a few hangars & was out the gate about noon. Won’t bother wasting my time or gas to go there again.
However, if you are in the snowcone or shaved ice business the place was positively heaving with purveyors of such watery delights…There were maybe 20 stalls set up…. at least 12 of which were in the frozen water business.

Highlight of the day was the breakfast in the airport cafe…It arrived on FIVE plates.. for the 2 of us…
