Mystery 1930s Aircraft Passenger Seat – help please :)

Dear all,

A friend of a friend has two of these seats – they are aluminium framed and quite distinctive with the O cutouts at the side – does anyone recognise them – this isnt a scoot and ebay request – he’s interested to know what they’re from!
