Having posted this in the ‘Wot Plane’ thread, not realising it’s a sort of competition (sorry chaps) I would like help in identifying this aeroplane.
The photograph was forwarded to me by a friend, it has been in a box of family papers for many years, he believes in was taken in Germany.
Any ideas gratefully received.

3-cylinder engine? Anzani?, Blackburne Thrush?. Wing reminiscent of a sailplane wing.

I can’t answer your question I’m afraid but I feel sure one our regular members will be able to. For that reason I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread as I’d also like to know the answer.
