According to Air Britain 1981 Civil Aircraft registers of AFRICA ZS-CVD is a Douglas A-26C c/n 27846,ex 44-34567,N9412Z.Wfu 13.1.71 and cancelled 3.5.78 on donation to SAAF Museum.

I believe that this airframe is probably an A-26C conversion to an On Mark Marksman B or possibly a Smith Tempo I, both of which had tip-tanks.
