Whilst doing some clearance work at the former Raf Binbrook i uncovered some aircraft parts from a unknown aircraft to which i am trying to identify its type.
I have this feeling it is maybe Meteor as many meteor parts have been found elsewhere on the base but these were in a different location .
The first part below is quite thick and looks like it has some kind of baffle plate/vent attached and also has a small Mod plate in center but cannot read what mods were embodied. Cant seem to find any part numbers or Makers id plate.
The second part seems to be some kind of pipe maybe ?. It looks like the right hand side has had something welded to it as i can see welding marks .
Yet again no numbers are visible to give a number or makers id.
Hope someone may recognise these parts so then i can start tracing serial numbers for the aircraft.
