Mystery 'ATC' Avro Cadet

Found this while looking for something else:

The initial post says:

Bagillt & Mostyn ATC 68 Squadron

Last updated: 21 January 2009

Q: Colin Sheen, Bagillt History Club: “Does any one remember or have any information on Bagillt & Mostyn ATC 68 Squadron, first in Wales, based at Canton garage in Bagillt around 1941/42? The Officer in Charge was Major Storry, owner of Mostyn Steel works. He provided a shooting range built inside a row of old cottages alongside the railway line by Mostyn Steel works. They also had an Avro Cadet Biplane, which was kept inside Canton garage.

Although the thread goes for some time, there doesn’t seem to be any response to the Cadet’s existence.

Does anyone know if it was a Cadet (usually remembered as ‘a biplane’ or ‘a Tiger Moth’ in my experience) maybe a serial number, and what might’ve happened to it?

Thanks in advance!
