It looked like this in April. At least they’ve turned the nosewheel around the right way.

Hi Damien,

Thanks for the link. A very interesting site indeed.

There’s ropes attached to it but there doesn’t seem to be anything holding the rear end down. Unless they have put weights in the rear fuselage.

Seems to have rotated since I past it late last year.

Correct is is the ex-aberporth one, WT680. she has now moved to the other end of the car park after her respray. She now has her code back on the side and is waiting for a few graphics for the letters etc. I would have posted some pics of the move as I took plenty, but not had time to resize them to fit on here, plus cant take any more as my digital camera has packed up. The brief story of the move is in the October issue of Flypast on page 7. She is looking much nicer now she has been moved, reassembled, sprayed and back on display. It is attracting lots of interest in its new home on display for all to see. Hopefully she will now stay in this good looking condition with the ATC looking after her, alrready been down with the polish once to get her shiney, afterall it is nearly her 50th birthday.

Yes, it is the Aberporth machine. Arrived there a few weeks ago.

It looks to be in the grounds of a hotel so I would go with the former Aberporth machine myself, the latest FlyPast will tell you all you want to know, however I don’t have my copy on me.

I still think it could be the one from Aberporth myself.

But it is between the cones…

I suppose they were trying to have a mini RIAT! Perhaps it belongs to the Ministry of de Fens

Someone needs to learn to drive, I mean to say, it’s not even parked within the lines 😀

Looks to be ‘clean’ too, well apart from that dangerous looking cone.

Joking aside, it looks like a F.1 – possibly the one from Aberporth?

Good job you managed to get it off the A17, the traffic’s bad enough there at the best of times 😀

Yes, you are quite right. It is definitely a Hunter.
