Mystery Lancaster navigation equipment

Can anyone tell me what this unit is please (circled in red)? I’m guessing it’s some kind of air or ground position equipment?

Maybe they are plentiful in Canada Peter – I can’t remember seeing an Air Ministry one anywhere. If someone has one spare, please let me know!

It’s an Astrograph that is used to shine a star chart onto the top of the Navigators table.
