Hello
I’ve purchased a bunch of items sold as aircraft parts. Saying that, I’m not entirely sure all items are aviation related.
Possibly one item is a Mosquito fuel gauge although not been able confirm as yet. I’ve seen similar but not mentioning the No 2 Stub Tanks text.
Lots of electro mechanical items. No idea on these or if they’re related to each other. Was thinking some sort of navigation radar or the like.
They arrive next week so I will be able to go into more detail.
Take a look and let me know if you’ve seen similar before.
Cheers, Stephen.

Thanks all. Nice to know what these are from.
I have found some of these parts that look like they started life at Bletchley Park are in fact from a Creed 7b teleprinter.
The cursor bearing indicators and mileage/yard counter have no markings. they are back lit and the counter spools Light up.
That box with the stripes is made of wood and has an aluminium cover riveted around it. It’s empty and has four holes on four sides. Weird because it’s sealed shut and has no evidence of ever been anchored to anything.
Cheers once again, Stephen.

The gauge on the left is a Radiator thermometer indicator Mk 2A , +40 to +140 deg. C, 24V, Fluorescent.

The electrical panel is off the front of the T1154 transmitter as fitted to the Lancaster.

Thanks all.
The shipment arrived yesterday and I think some of it is unrelated to aviation. The Mosquito stub tank fuel indicator has RAAF stamped into the Bakelite.
There was also a small electrical panel that I’m unsure of its origins. I guess it had some ammeters installed at one stage. Also two temp gauges, one radiator with numbers and one outside temp with nothing but T-52 H hidden low behind the cover that hides the base of the needle.
Cheers!

The ones with the fins look like radio/radar transmitter valves.

The ring with the numbers on is from a gyro direction indicator – one of the standard flying instruments, the numbers should run from 0 to 360.
There is a lot of it missing!

The two round objects I think I have seen on either Oxygen or fresh air supply items.

You are correct on the fuel indicator, I have it as a Gauges, Fuel Contents, Electrical, Mk. IV, Smiths Type.
My document shows that there were 8 different models of gauges fitted to the Mosquito.
This one 6A/1108 is a Luminous Type 84 (417FG) Double indicator.
