Well that explains why ive not heard about it.Cheers guys.Also just been on the company site and they also say there is no such a/c.As for the state of the 10-10 i have got to agree they are in a terrible state inside.At the moment they are being used on the BGI and MBJ sectors as the B767’s are down in HAJ.Poor passengers !

Hmmm… I’d have thought that as these 10’s are so old that they would at most have had an interim paint scheme applied and not the full monty so to speak. BA left much newer planes such as their early 757’s and ATP’s in older schemes as they new they would be “moving then on”.
As I said before, if the Airtours/My DC-10 I flew on last year is anything to go by, then the entire fleet ought to be gathering dust in the Nevada desert sooner rarther than later.
A great plane, but well past it’s time methinks !

It looks great. Not too keen on the MyTravel colour scheme but it makes that DC-10 look great!
Who was the guy who showed us his impressive 4-engined A320 and the easyJet A320? Perhaps he had something to do with it?! LOL, joke of course 😀

Still does look pretty good that DC-10 in those colours, the pic gives us an insight as to what the MYT c/s will look like on the DC-10 fleet.

The a.net photo has been removed for being a fake as its been recognised that reg’s can’t be re-assigned.
SOFTLAD – Where did you hear this info from? I didn’t think any DC-10 was in the full new colours yet.
EGNM – Have you got that pic cached on your computer? Can you post it, I can’t see what the pic looks like!

I went on G-TDTW AIH228 HER-MAN in May 2001 and although i wasn’t impressed by the interior at the time i was by the cockpit – its the looks that get me!

I thought the Airtours DC-10-10 I flew on last year was most certainly the worst thing I’ve ever been on, not knocking the design per se, but this one should have been on a one way flight to the museum of flight !
