Was just after a bit of reassurance, got a last minute deal to Minorca and due to good price I wasn’t really to choosey on the holiday company, just need a week in the sun doing nothing.
Anyway we are going to be travelling on MyTravel’s A320, are they any better as a company and airline than they were a few years ago, i.e. that had poor reputation of delays, poor maintenance and so on. Also what are their 320’s like onboard new or old and tatty?
Any info would be of help.

MYT – Our experience
Haven’t flown MYT short-haul, but I have taken the family to Florida with them twice in the last few years on their A330s.
I must admit we had paid extra to travel “Premiair Gold” so that we would get reasonable leg room and wider seats etc (definitely worth the extra dosh on a 9hr flight) but we were pretty impressed with the overall standard of service, and although the economy class cabin looked pretty tight for space, it looked okay too.
I’ve experienced far worse service, and far scruffier aircraft, when travelling on scheduled flights with “the Worlds Favourite” airline and other scheduled carriers.

Thanks for the feedback, so it seems that they have improved, wasn’t to bothered but I did have some terrible experiences with them a good few years ago. Glad they have bounced back.
Saying that after my recent trip with Thomfly on one of their 767s I don’t think anything can be as bad as there aircraft, shabby was an understatement, and the crew were abysmal

Service Is Really Good
When I Acted As Cabin Crew On A Flight Down To Palma
A Man Came To Me Personally And Said “What A Fabulous Flight, Thank You”
The A320’s Interior Is The Same As The A321’s I Do Belive,
MyTravel Are Definatly Better Than What They We’re!

I havent been on one of their A320’s but the A321’s are very nice inside with dark blue leather seats. I’m sure all the A320’s have these interiors aswell?
Trust me, having been round the MYT offices and maintanance they are not what they used to be, I believe they are one of the best charter airlines now (biased opinion but hey) and they have some great great staff! Look at their on time performance now and three/four years ago ….. says it all really!
