Allegedly the 757’s (some of?) have been sold to Fed Ex but they are not able to have them converted for their purposes for another 2 years. So My Travel has been offered to lease them back off of them at a favourable rate for those 2 years. Three A321’s are apparently making way for this by being handed back to the lessors at no charge to the company as they already have another company who will lease them instead. Don’t know much truth is in all this but apparently it has come from the cheif pilot ? Post more as and when i find out.

This is great news, I would miss the B757s! I have nothing against their airbus fleet but the B757s just have that impressive take off!

Great news.
Danair – I knew what you were going to post before I even looked at this thread, the A321s have no problems on the routes MYT use them for. They are cheap to run and have good capacity. I dont particularly like them, but I dont blame charters for getting them.

If this is true its truly great news. I love the 757 and I think they are more versatile for MYT than those 321s. Let hope those expensive to lease 757 wannabes are going!
