MyTravel's New Short Haul Cabin

Here are some photo’s of MyTravel’s comfortable new leather cabin as found on A321 G-SMTJ and 4 other Airbus aircraft from this Summer. The seats are now dark blue leather with new very comfortable cushioning. In addition, dark blue patterned carpets have been fitted and blue seat belts have also been added. Upon boarding, it’s getting in a new car as the cabin is so new and fresh. Apologies for the quality:

I prefer faux-leather really, but its the choice of the airline, i’m not going to make big rant over there descision.

It is real leather. Faux leather doesnt have the durability of real leather- the main reason they choose to lay out the initial expense. Cabin looks “ok” but hardly earth shattering.

Is it similar to that used in the Premiair Gold Cabins on the A330s?

Hi,

I can assure you it is real leather. It looked, felt and smelled exactly as leather should. πŸ™‚

I doubt they’re proper leather. Knowing charter airlines it’s likely to be plastic :).

Their new cabin looks very nice and the new leather seats look a lot better than the cloth Airtours covers that they used to have. Big improvement there
