N011M Bars info

I’m working on an article describing the N011M Bars radar.

Can anyone access the NIIP website at http://www.niip.ru?

Did anyone SAVE the Russian-language pages? I only have my partial translations.

It appears that the weight of the Bars radar is 650kg.

It also appears that plans to replace the Russian signal processor with an Indian one were shelved. The data processor will be replaced, but not the signal processor. Phazotron are claiming Zhuk-ME has a much faster signal processor than the N011M.

More interestingly, I think the whole “L and X band” thing is a mistake. The main radar appears to operate solely in X band, the “L band” component is only the IFF interrogator dipoles mounted in front of it.
