Nice catch, can’t see it being used for rendition, more likely electronic and photographic surveillance. Looks very sinister.

Rendition “R” US comes to mind 😉

that’s what I thought but why all the lumps and bumps

I thought from photos I’ve seen of Dash 8s when Rendition was rife they were all clean, same colour though

Well apparently one of the local guys spoke with the crew the following morning, he asked what all the add-ons were for ?? The crews ‘tongue in cheek’ answer was that it is a standard aircraft ! delivered from Canada just like this ?? mmmmmm ??

would love to know what it’s used for with all those lumps and bumps

can’t be that covert with it’s national markings on

I likwe the paint scheme, butthe wet weather probably makes it look better than it really is.

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a short Dash-8. All we get here now is the ungainly long Q-400. There comes a point when a fuselage stretch gets too long…like the DC-8 60 Series. The Q400 is there now.

MSR … I think maybe ‘fishy patrol’ would suit ?

Newforest … Yes looking good for her age, but like most older ladies, showing signs of lumps and bumps that were not there when she was much younger 😀

Not looking bad for a twenty-seven year old plane! 😉
