It used to be very popular, especially in the fifties, under the Tito-rule. Yugoslavia was for Europe what Turkey is today.

having visited Turkey , Egypt , Romania , Pourtogal , Greece , Lebanon , Jordan , Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and having no real interest in visiting the United States AT ALL , I guess my five choises are left to :
Palestine .
Qatar .
Austria .
France and
the United Kingdom .

Kingdom? The last time they had a king was in the late 1700s when they were united in the Rzeszcspospolita with Poland, uniting both states under one crown. It’s a republic now, with rather little remains of it’s former glory as most of it has beens smashed in wars ever since the Polish Partitions which ended the existance of the country until 1918. There are some nice sites to be found though.

This list would probably look different any time you’d ask me this, but generally i like to visit countries in order to make my own opinion of them. Also, i like foreign countries to be differen: it doesn’t make sense to me if i go abroad and end up drinking Heineken and eating at McDonalds. I do like to see more countries than just these – all of them!
Are there countries i don’t like? Yes, there are. However, it has happened three times to me that a country annoyed me so much that i swore never to go back there, but found myself back a year later. So i won’t make that mistake again.

The once proud center of our globe, how sad is it that it’s been reduce to poverty now.
3. Cambodia
The most ignored country in Asia, it has a real history and if it’s anything like Vietnam (Which I’ve been to), it will be great.
4. Lithuania
I’m facintaed with the medi-evil history of this kingdom, will be very interesting to actually see it.
5. Congo
I’d love africa and this time I’d like to see the western side of it, I’ve seen the northern, southern and eastern sides. Besides just to see the mighty silver backs would be a rare thing.
I would have included Antartica, but that’s not officially a country and thus is void of this topic
Oh and yes Kab it has been mentioned before, but still nice and with so many new members, it’s nice to see what they think.

1. Russia (appears to be quite a popular choice – we should all get organised and go together)
2. Turkey/Greece (I really wanna visit both but couldn’t fit them both in the top 5 so I’m cheating)
3. Iran (kinda wanna do a tour of ancient Persia)
4. China (could probably spend years here and still miss lots of amazing stuff)
5. India (see bracketed comment for number 4. China)

I reckon I can tell you why holidaying in Israel is cheap. You pay for your accommodation in advance, but there’s no guarantee you’ll survive long enough there to use it!

California is planned for 2004, unless my brother becomes father for the second time, and have to go to South Africa again.
And I know some people down under, so that shouldn’t be that hard.
Israel. Going to visit it with my uncle, it’s not that expensive these days, don’t know why }>.
St-Petersburg, always wanted to see how the Russians copied our western-European cities. And ofcourse the hermitage museum. My brother says it was one of the coolest places in the world.
And if I just had two days to live: Texas, to some kind of ranch (?), with my FN 7.52 UR Commando sniper. Next time some American kid says he doesn’t believe we know how to operate weapons in Belgium, I’ll show him }>. –> Joke.
