Does anyone recognise which airline used the flight crew wings shown in the photo? Any information would be gratefully received.

The buttons have an eagle almost identical to the RAF eagle shoulder titles

Thanks for the uniform pics RA
Does the ICI Terylene label date the jacket to 60’s?70’s ?
Can you do a close up of one of the buttons (unless it is just a generic button) as I cannot see the detail on the button.

I doubt these photos are much help, but just in case, here they are.

The trouble is there are/have been so many Airlines/Independent/Charter Lines/Air Taxis with names starting with ‘North’ and it is impossible to find pics of those relevant uniforms/insignia.Even the Wingcollector website has huge gaps, what does the rest of the uniform look like ? especially the Rank Rings.

Thanks baz. You’re right that this is close, but not quite the same and the stitching of the wings is very different. I guess it’s possible that our one is an earlier example from Nordair, but I can’t find anything on earlier pilot’s wings to say for certain. Anyway, I appreciate the information which throws up an interesting possibility, although as you say, not an exact match.

Hi SF
No unfortunately I do not think it is Nordair – it is close but not close enough.
The background colour for the ‘N’ is wrong and there is no (laurel ?) Wreath around the ‘N’ either,so almost definitely not Nordair.

Looks like Nordair all right.

Closest I have found so far is Nordair (Canada)
However it is not close enough to say it is correct unfortunately.
